The Scriptures are Inspired:
We believe the Bible, consisting of sixty-six books, is the inspired Word of God. It is a divine revelation to humanity, the infallible guide for faith and conduct, and superior to human conscience and reason, yet never contradictory to reason. (Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:15-17)
The One True God:
(a) We believe in one eternal, self-existent God who has revealed Himself as "I AM." God exists in a triune relationship: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19; John 14:16-17)
(b) Jesus Christ: At the appointed time, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, born of a virgin. Jesus provided atonement for humanity’s sins through His sacrificial death on the cross, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and intercedes for believers as our High Priest. He will return in power and glory to reign for a thousand years. (Galatians 4:4-5; Luke 1:31-33; Acts 1:9-11; Revelation 20:1-7)
(c) The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the Giver of life, proceeding from the Father and the Son. He is worshiped and glorified with the Father and the Son and actively works in the lives of believers. (John 14:16-17)
Humanity, the Fall, and Redemption:
Humans were created good and in the image of God. However, they fell into sin through disobedience. Redemption is possible only through Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Genesis 1:26-31; Romans 5:12-21)
Salvation of Humanity:
(a) Condition of Salvation: Redemption is freely offered through Jesus Christ. Those who repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord are justified by grace through faith and become children of God. (Luke 24:47; Romans 10:13-15; Titus 3:5-7)
(b) Evidence of Salvation: Salvation is evidenced inwardly by the witness of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:16) and outwardly by a transformed life of righteousness and holiness. (Romans 10:9; 6:22)
Water Baptism:
Baptism by immersion, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is an act of obedience that symbolizes the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 6:4)
The Lord’s Supper:
The Lord’s Supper, consisting of bread and the fruit of the vine, commemorates Christ’s suffering and death, and it anticipates His second coming. (Luke 22:17-20; 1 Corinthians 10:16-17; 11:23-32)
The Promise of the Holy Spirit:
Believers are entitled to seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, as commanded by Christ. This experience empowers believers for service, ministry, and spiritual growth. (Acts 1:8; 2:38; 10:44-46; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)
Evidence of the Holy Spirit Baptism:
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is evidenced by speaking in tongues, as the Spirit enables, and by the manifestation of spiritual power for testimony and ministry. (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 10:44-46)
Sanctification:
Sanctification is a life-long process of becoming holy through obedience to God’s Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. Holiness is essential for seeing God. (1 Peter 1:15-16; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14)
The Church:
The Church is the body of Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill the Great Commission. Every believer is an integral part of this spiritual family. (Ephesians 1:22-23; Hebrews 12:23)
Ministry and Evangelism:
God has called and equipped believers for ministry to evangelize the world and build up the body of Christ. (Mark 16:15-20; Ephesians 4:11-13)
Divine Healing:
Healing is part of Christ’s atonement and is available to all believers. (Isaiah 53:4; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16)
The Blessed Hope:
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the rapture of believers, which is the blessed hope of the Church. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Titus 2:13)
The Millennial Reign of Christ:
Christ will return to establish His kingdom and reign on earth for a thousand years, fulfilling God’s promises. (Revelation 20:1-7)
The Lake of Fire:
Satan, his angels, and all who reject Christ will face eternal judgment in the lake of fire, which is the second death. (Revelation 20:10-15)
The New Heaven and New Earth:
We look forward to the fulfillment of God’s promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1)
Marriage and Sexuality:
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant ordained by God, designed as a union between one biological man and one biological woman. This principle governs the use of church facilities and property in accordance with our faith. (Matthew 19:4-6; Genesis 2:24)
